Hyssop Oil

The oil is obtained by steam distillation of hyssop blossoms (Hissopus officinalis L.), cut 5-10 cm below the last blossom node.

The oil is oily light yellow-green liquid with intense sweet and warm spicy camphor scent and slightly bitter taste.

The oil contains camphor, cineol, geraniol, borneol, aromatic esters, alcohols, cetones, lactones, etc.

Use: the oil is used for the specific needs of the perfumery industry, food industry, as spice, in medicine (in case of bronchitis).
